Oh god. I can't believe what happened today.

This year has been full of rude awakenings for me and many of my loved ones. The terrorist attacks today are yet another reminder that security is an illusion.

So many thoughts running through my head...

We have been broadsided. This is now part of our history.

I can only hope that that so-called President of ours and the rest of our political leaders make the right judgment calls here.
